WHAT IS THE RHINOPLASTY?

Rhinoplasty is a type of plastic surgery that aims to changes your nose’s shape and size. Some people have rhinoplasty to enhance how their nose and face look. Others prefer rhinoplasty to improve breathing and nasal function.

The upper portion of the structure of the nose is bone, and the lower portion is cartilage. Rhinoplasty can change bone, cartilage, skin, or all three. After examination, your surgeon talks to you about whether rhinoplasty is appropriate for you and what it can achieve.

While planning rhinoplasty, your surgeon will consider your other facial features, the skin on your nose, and what you would like to change. If you’re a suitable candidate for surgery, your surgeon will improve a customized plan for you.
