FAT INJECTION

Fat injection is the operation transfers fat from areas that you have excess fat from one part of body such as abdomen, flanks or outer thigs, to another that may be lacking in volume such as your face, hands, breasts or buttocks with special cannulas.

IS IT RIGHT FOR ME ?

If you would like to decrease undesired fat in specific body areas while restoring or adding volume to other areas of the body, a fat transfer can enhance body contours and revitalize overall appearance by fat injection.

WHICH AREAS ON THE BODY CAN IT BE APPLIED?

Fat tissue can be transferred from the area around the buttocks, belly or thighs to increase the volume on the area where it is injected, remove wrinkles after several procedures.Facial fat injection is considered as one of the most preferred procedures. Besides, the breast, lip, cheek and forehead volume can be increased and cheekbones can become more prominent with fat injection. How deep the injection will be made in the skin depends on the location and depth of the wrinkles. As some of the fat tissue can be absorbed by the body over time, sometimes a second or third injection can be needed and the sessions may need to be repeated within 6 months for the permanence of the process.

Fat injection can be performed to thicken the lips, fill deep wrinkles at the edge of the mouth, make the cheekbones prominent or slightly increase the lower jaw. In addition, in some cases, a later surgical intervention can be performed for trial purposes. For example, a patient who needs a cheekbone filling with a permanent implant can request a trial fat injection. Fat injection can also be used to correct the reshaping of the hips, remove cavitation, deformities caused by previous aesthetic operations and eliminate dentations after some accidents.

WHAT ARE THE POINTS TO CONSIDER AFTER THE SURGERY?

  • The patient is usually discharged on the day of surgery. If a large amount of injection is applied to the area, they stay in the hospital for one more day.
